BIOGRAPHIE :
Rihanna, de son vrai nom Robyn Rihanna Fenty, est née le 18 février 1988 à St. Michael (Barbade, Caraïbes). Elle grandit en menant une vie simple rythmée par le chant qu'elle pratique en écoutant ses idoles Alicia Keys, Beyoncé Knowles ou bien Mariah Carey. Le déclic à lieu au hasard d'une rencontre avec le producteur Evan Rogers qui passe des vacances sur l'île en 2004. Il tombe littéralement sous le charme de la belle Rihanna et décide de lui faire enregistrer une démo de douze titres parmi lesquels "Pon De Replay". Jay-Z signe la jeune fille dès la première écoute et le premier single "Pon De Replay" sort dans la foulée. C'est un véritable carton et Rihanna sort son premier album fin 2005 "Music Of The Sun", un joli mélange de ragga et de R'n'B avant de revenir en 2006 avec "A Girl Like Me", dans la lignée du précédent et toujours aussi envoûtant.
